ATTENTION : Off piste skiing requires a technique wich allows you to deal with all snow types and all slopes. A guide can only offer limited tehnical help. A ski teacher in a ski resort is thebest personne to help you improve your technique

BEGINNER

SKI : "It's your first time". Gentle progress adapted to your needs. Green pistes attainable at the end of your first week. MOUNTAIN : You are not really sporty or do not want a technic or full on activity. You can walk for 3 or 5 hours but with not too much climbing

INTERMEDIATE

SKI : "You can stop, turn in snowplow and use the skilift". Progress on intermediates slopes, blue and green to gain confidence and independence. Red runs possible at the end of this stage. MOUNTAIN : Take your first steps ice climbing and discover ice axe technique.

ADVANCED

SKI : You are able to do parallel turns and control your speed in all circumstances. Improve your technique on black and red runs. Start carving and off piste at your level. MOUNTAIN : You can ski all types of snow and cover most types of terrain. You want to get away from it all off piste or enjoy the benefits of ski touring. Trips can be arranged to suit your level.

VALLEE BLANCHE SPECIAL

The Aiguille du Midi cablecar leads to an extraordinary mountain environment.To ski the Vallée Blanche is a must. As the weekends ca be very busy, it would be preferable to choose a weekday. ATTENTION : The Vallée Blanche is a high moutain route and conditions can change quickly. If your ski level is not good enough to cope with the conditions, a pleasant day out can quickly became a nightmare, particularly if weather conditions change. Try to be realistic. Respect the group which will always go at the speed of the slowest skier.
